I took D and M to the store the other day - because they had been being really good 

and because Jason and I were feeling generous.  

This is what D picked.

He really likes it and he is getting very good at flying it.  

I am not sure what M is doing in the background - but of course she is 

butt-cracking as usual.  What a girl.

Candace and I took mom to see Kenny Chesney again this year.

He is one of my very favorite people to see in concert - it is always such a good time!

Dinosaur Round-Up

We all went to the rodeo again this year, which I always look forward to.

Dad, Codie, Tim, Candace, Tom, Jack and Stephen joined Me, Derek and Maddie.

Jack spent a lot of the evening doing this

Derek decided this year that he would like to be a cowboy in the rodeo.

Pretty sure that we all have him considering steer wrestling.

July 4th, 2011 - Part 2

After hanging out with Candace and Tim at the store we went home and cleaned up and took a little nap.  Then we headed over to Rannie's house to eat dinner and watch the fireworks.  

It was a lot of fun, and I always love to watch the fireworks.  

Tim helped the kids light theirs this year since Jason was working (thank you Tim).  

Derek got to play with Jeremy.

Maddie got to play with Abbey.

And I got to do some major catch up visiting with my bestie Michelle.

It was a great day - all the way around.

July 4th, 2011 - Part 1

We had a great 4th this year.

The parade was better than I remember parade's being, so that was cool.

Codie, Derek, Maddie, Rhandi, Trevor and Shae all helped Tim and Candace hand out

Uintah Angler Supply balloons to all of the kids that wanted one (until we ran out of string).

I love seeing the look on kids' faces when they get something that

they really wanted.  Makes my heart smile.  :)

Canada 2011

Jason and Derek recently went to Canada with Tim and Tom on a canoe only fishing trip. 

They had a great time!

Bugs!

We have moved on from lizards to bugs. 

 Yes - nightmares again. 

 But - they have a ton of fun doing it and they get to spend time outside so that I can sew. 

 It's a win-win situation!

Best Friends

Look at how cute these three are!  

Jackson loves Derek and Maddie (they love him back), 

and they all have so much fun playing together.  

Derek pulled Maddie and Jack around in this wagon for a little while, even though 

"they are really heavy!"

Lizards

Are abundant around our house.  

Derek and Maddie decided that they each needed a can, and a lid, so that they could go catch some.  

I think to myself they will never catch any...lizards are too fast.  WRONG! 

Here are some pics of the catches of the day.  

This one is named "No Tail" because when they caught it by the tail - the tail fell off.
"MOM - it was SO cool!!!"

One lizard I can deal with - fine, keep it outside...whatever.  

But when they each have one I get a little bit uncomfortable - don't even come near the door, 

keep the lids on them...EW

I need to also add that after this entire day outside catching lizards...

Derek had nightmares about lizards all night long.  UGH!! 

Jason finally made them let them go in the yard

so that they didn't die.  I am sure that we will be having 

this adventure again in the near future...
