Clay Pigeons
This past Sunday we went to visit my dad, Codie, Stephen and some of their friends while they were shooting clay pigeons. This is something that we have always done - which I really enjoy. And I am excited that Derek is learning to do it too!
Ryan, Ryan's Mom, Stephen and John
Me and Jack
Dad and Codie - pretty sure dad is eating a brownie here
Dad and Derek
Codie and Derek
We all went out to the old airport to shoot. Maddie was not interested in shooting (don't worry - if she is anything like me she will be) but Derek was so excited to explode a frozen ORANGE. He also hit a flying pigeon on his first try. His arms are still a little bit short - but he is doing a great job nonetheless. So proud of my little (not very little anymore) shooter!!!

Spaghetti...
...is one of our FAVORITE meals. We especially love that every year around Valentine's Day the local Catholic Church does a Spaghetti Supper as a fund-raiser. We have been going for as long as I can remember, and we all LOVE it! Today was no exception - especially since Jack is old enough this year to fully enjoy.
Candace and Jack - YUMMO
Rannie, Mom, Derek, Angie, Marita, Gma Hunny and Maddie's head. Chantel was there too!
Don't stab my hand....
Maddie Suzie
The kids got to have ice cream for dessert also. Maddie ate her entire bowl, and half of my plate. Mom was nervous that she was going to go up and have to ask for more for Maddison (long story short - apparently when I was about 5, I kept asking for more - hence mom got embarassed) - but thankfully she got full first. Looking forward to many more years of St. James Spaghetti Supper to come!!!
